Description

A large Victorian Etruscan Revival gold fill locket with split pearl accents and the original bail. The locket has all of the decorative elements of an Etruscan Revival piece: granulation, twisted wire work, a recessed center face, and tiers of design. The face has a beautiful, faux cannetille trim leading to a smooth, raised gold frame. The face dips down from here, creating space for an ornate, polished gold accent. This is mounted with an arched band of split pearls. The locket hinges open with the help of thumb tabs. Tidy interior. Made to hold two photographs, both picture rings still intact but the original glass is absent. Plain verso. Excellent antique condition.

If you are disappointed with your shopping experience or your purchase for any reason, please give me the opportunity to make it right for you. I accept domestic returns for full refunds up to 14 days after purchase. After that, items may still be returned but for shop credit only. All items purchased on a payment plan are eligible for return for shop credit only. ALL INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE FINAL.

▴ International: Default shipping is via USPS First Class International Mail unless the value of the parcel is $400 or more, in which case the default is USPS Priority Mail International shipping. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Please note that in-country customs may add time to this delivery estimate and that Jean Jean Vintage is not responsible for customs delays or taxes imposed in the receiving country.

▴ Insurance is available upon request for a small fee for all domestic items. Insurance is required for items over $400. International insurance is NOT INCLUDED with the cost of shipping. If you require insurance for an international shipment (which I strongly recommend, in some cases) please let me know prior to checking out.

▴ Need it in a hurry? There are expedited options available at check out for your convenience. If you wish, you can always still check in with me to discuss upgrade options and request a personalize quote.
