Description
All of my super light-weight and one-of-a-kind paper beads are rolled by yours truly and with an enormous amount of love and attention! I have been rolling paper beads since early 2009 as a way to combat anxiety and depression. Since then I have grown to really love every step of the process.
From procuring old books, to cutting every paper bead sniplet free hand, to rolling each and every bead by hand and then lovingly applying two separate layers of high-quality glaze to every. single. bead. It goes without saying that I really love these beads so I hope that energy follows them wherever they may go!

The hooks are Antique Brass Plated, Lead and Nickel Free. I have hypo-allergenic Niobium hooks on hand for those who cannot wear brass but they cost $5 extra and you would need to message me so I can create a listing for you.

HOW TO CARE FOR PAPER BEADS: Besides avoiding water/moisture, you should also consider wearing paper jewelry on days where you wear the least amount of hair product/sunscreen as well as avoiding activities where you may perspire more often.
Finally, as much as it’s tempting to do, try to avoid directly handling/touching/feeling the paper beads as the high quality Diamond glaze can get covered over time by oil/greases/hair product.
Think of these as little works of art. They require a bit more love and tenderness from you but they give back so much in color and uniqueness!

Payments are due at the time of purchase. Merchandise will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt/successful posting of payment.

***PLEASE NOTE: Since receipts are available for print, I do not include paper receipts with orders, for environmental and economic reasons. No receipt means less waste and impact on our environment. If you would like a receipt, please indicate so in notes to seller when placing your order, and I will be happy to include it in your package!
Returns & exchanges
"Do you take returns?"
First and Foremost, I want all of my clients to enjoy wearing their JoHa bling! This means, if you get a pair of earrings in the mail and find they are too long or just not your style and you let me know within 48 hours of receiving the package (obviously there are exceptions to this), you can either exchange them for another pair in the same price range or lower OR I can tweak them and mail them back, no charge besides the postage you pay to send them back the first time.
Shipping policies
Shipping rates are specified in item listings. Please convo me if you need priority shipping, as there is an additional cost for this. For regular first class shipping within the continental U.S., please allow 7-10 business days from indicated shipped date for your order to arrive.
Please make sure your Etsy shipping address is the same as your Paypal address ~OR~ be sure to indicate the correct shipping address, if different, in notes to me when ordering (don't forget this detail if you're ordering a gift to be shipped directly to the recipient!!).
Additional policies
All necklaces are put inside a 100% recycled Kraft jewelry box which is placed snuggly inside a bubble mailer.
I tie each box with a simple strand of waxed nylon.
I can also include a small hand-written card if you, the buyer, sends me a message specifying what you would like it to say.
