A found text poem....it's words found buried within the text of a page from an old novel. To make these poems, I take a page of text from a book and delicately paint out all the words in white paint that are not the poem. How do I find the poem? Well, I suppose it's intuition and listening to language and to the flow of words and phrases, as my eyes dance across the page...the poems seem to announce themselves! It's delightful fun and always a surprise!

This book page measures 8 1/4" x approx. 4 1/2" and will come carefully packaged, ready for you to mount, frame or display as you desire.

These found text poems are first published on my blog, if you'd like to see more of them!

Here's how this poem reads:

Never The Dream

looking back, silent,
She was very much alone
only already fifty years old
gay and companionable
always full of sunshine lessons
she was magician of a sandbox,
All the same
gave way to
a hungry memory
within everything changed
and she died
very suddenly.
