Screen print on 7x5" wood veneer

Printed on a variety of woods: Aspen, Birch, Birdseye Maple, Cherry, Eastern Cedar, Maple

Originally a woodcut print, I've revisited the Woodland Rites artwork (with a focus on the goat) to create a silkscreen print on genuine wood veneer. As with my woodcuts, I've printed these with high quality archival ink.

The veneer is unmounted and may be framed in a standard 7 x 5". Packed in a polybag with acid free board backing.

Please note, watermark and wood type are not present on the actual prints. Also, wood varies from piece to piece so your print may not exactly match the images above. That said, each wood type has a few general characteristics:

Aspen is the whitest wood and sometimes has some gaps in the grain.
Birch is generally bright and very consistent in color. The grain may be slightly wide and create a striping effect in the image.
Birdseye Maple is generally light to medium yellow/tan with a shine and a lively array of spots, please note, this wood is most prone to curling. I recommend framing or mounting to keep it flat.
Cherry is a darker red tan tone than cedar and may have elaborate patterning mild color variations. Eyes are generally dark but small.
Eastern Cedar has the strongest color variation and this particular batch is a bit rippled -- DO NOT CHOOSE THIS TYPE IF YOU PREFER SMOOTH WOOD.
Maple is generally light to medium yellow/tan with some color variation following the grain.
Oak is a warm light brown with some patches of more open grain.
