Description
These are antique, Edwardian 925 solid sterling silver sugar nips / tongs by Levi & Salaman and are hallmarked for Birmingham, 1910
They are of a scissor action style and have a lovely shaped bowls and a circular chased design.
The tongs are marked on both finger rings, one with the lion passant and date letter l, shown in photo 9 above. The other finger ring is fully hallmarked with the makers mark L&S anchor for Birmingham assay office, lion passant and the date letter l for 1910, the actual hallmarks are shown in photo 10 above.

126mm length x 47mm max width
The tongs weigh 31.8g
Condition:
There are no dents, bending, splits or repairs to the tongs. The tongs do have a wobble, which can cause the bowls to be misaligned, see photo 7 above.
There are some minor surface marks, scuff scratches, tiny scratches and tiny dinks to the edges in places, consistent with age and previous use, please see photo 8 above for an example.

All items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, large items will be shipped in boxes, smaller items like jewellery, silver spoons are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard and are shipped in jiffy bags.
Cigarette card albums are shipped in Manilla board backed envelopes.
Books will be well packed and shipped in jiffy bags, very large books will be shipped with more protection.
