LOVE Red and Blue Square Glass Pendant with 24" Ball Chain Necklace.

This LOVE glass pendant features a classic symbol of love designed by Robert Indiana, an American artist associated with the Pop Art movement. Indiana's iconic work LOVE was first created for a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964 and later was included on an eight-cent United States Postal Service postage stamp in 1973, the first of their regular series of "love stamps." Sculptural versions of the image have been installed at numerous American and international locations.

The handmade glass tile measures 1 x 1 x 3/16". A clear finish seals the image, but does not make it waterproof. The square pendant has a medium silver plate or gold finish bail (extends 5/16" or 8 mm) attached to hang from a 24" (61 cm) ball chain which may be cut to a shorter length with scissors. The necklace comes with two connectors so you may reconnect a shorter, cut-off piece and return it to the original 24" length. Please indicate Color and Size of ball chain (1.5 or 2.4 mm) and whether you prefer a Silver or Gold finish bail, when ordering.

Please Note: Glass, by nature, is a fragile material prone to chipping or cracking, therefore, not suitable for children.
