132 year old book and in less than perfect condition but I was drawn to it not only for the history printed in the book but for the history of this specific edition; the engraved name on the cover, the illustrations, the weight and aging of it...

I think you will like it too -

the front and back covers are totally unattached and the rest of the binding is in amazingly good condition - the outside spine is cracking and very frayed - there is some aging and foxing and one area where there is a very darkened spot - overall the pages are only lightly tanned and not marked - the front cover has the engraved name of the previous owner - 862 pages - 9 x 6 1/2"
