Considering the construction of this piece and the estate this was found in, this pectoral crucifix is probably late 1800's early 1900's.
It is a traditional German crucifix, brass with a silver wash, looks like wood inlay.
The "INRI" banner is missing and part of the halo behind Jesus' head is also missing.
The skull and cross bones represent "victory over death"
Jesus' head is worn as if the wearer of this used to worry it with his hand.
The estate this came from was a German family with a history of ministers in the family.

Overall an interesting piece.
Measures just a tad over 2 3/4 inches long and 1 3/8 wide
