Original acrylic painting on paper of Dona Flor, a large brown eyed "mexicana" with small gold earring, floral textural background. She is mestiza, india, hija de la tierra. She needs a "casa" to oversee and call her own. This image was inspired by the works of Diego Rivera.

As I was sketching this image I chose to leave my "mark" show through her face and shoulders leaving an almost weather worn image of skin but not taking away from her beauty.

Size: 31 1/2 inches by w 25 1/2 black frame (1 inch front frame width with bevel against glass and 1 inch deep), matted, ready to hang. Additional pictures of framed image have a reflection of surrounding because of glass; not part of image.
