"The future of music may not lie with music itself, but rather...in the way it makes itself a part with the finer things that humanity does and dreams of." (Charles E. Ives, quoted on page 653)

Show your love of fine music and fine things by letting this classic handbag accompany what you do and what you dream of. I upcycled a 1955 edition of "America's Music" to compose the sides of this large bag and matched it with a lovely, light pink cotton fabric. I also added a large interior pocket--something I look for in a bag!--to keep you organized. I made it the perfect size for your cell phone, calling cards, or change and you'll love the unexpected sheet music pattern lining the inside. Not to mention the silver music notes that originally decorated the cover!

The dark green cover is treated with a clear, water-resistant coating to ensure a long "shelf-life" and to help the bag brave the rigors of daily use. The large wooden handles make it sturdy and comfortable to carry so, frankly, you might never put it down!

"America's Music" measures 9.5" x 6.25" on each side and opens to 6" wide for easy access to all your goodies. It's just over 11" tall from the bottom to the top of the handles and the inside pocket measures 6.5" x 4.25".
