The Ocean Baths quilted zipper clutch was inspired by my time in Newcaslte, NSW. We used to spend hot evenings after work lounging around the beach, and cooling off in the baths.

They are an icon of Newcastle: the art deco building opens up onto a wave cut rock platform that the city made into the Baths in 1922. It's completely free, so anyone can come by and cool off while watching the sun set behind the Esplanade.

Only three have been made with this colour combination. Each clutch is unique with a slightly different pattern, but using the same cotton colours.

The clutches come with a cotton tassel zipper pull, and a card with a photo and description of the inspiration.

The clutch is hand quilted and lined with retro themed cotton fabric, with a white YKK brass zipper closure.

Exceptional quality. The A4 sheet gives scope for pocket-sized covers, folded and glued... As a simple wallet, it can last and endure. I have ordered before, and I was grateful to find this extraordinary paper fabric still available. The texture is 'granular'; the material is leather-like and supple. It has wonderful substance.
