J. Salmon Limited in Sevenoaks, Kent was founded in 1880. It is the oldest established postcard publisher in the United Kingdom. Sometime in the early 1900s Salmon published their “Watercolour Series” postcards. A number of the images used were painted by Charles T. Howard, including his group of military sentries at Buckingham and Whitehall Palaces.

This card, painted by C. T. Howard for the "Watercolour Series," is titled "Changing Sentries at Buckingham Palace." on the face of the card. It is numbered 4135 on the back side of the card.

The unused card is in excellent condition. Its corners are still sharp and there are no creases or folds in the card.

The size is 5.5" x 3.5"

Contact me if you would like to purchase three or more postcards, so I can set up a special discounted price for you.

Please be aware that the 8.25% California state sales tax will be added to price for buyers with California addresses.
