Description

This gorgeous kiln fused glass is inspired by the forests around us, in Argyll. The piece is created using layers of glass which are then fired in the kiln, to a lower temperature than clay. Once the piece is finished a wooden frame is custom made to display it. In this case the frame is painted white.

This piece looks lovely displayed anywhere, but really comes to life if displayed near a window. To allow for this the frame has been made to be free standing so it can be placed in a window.

This piece is 10.3 cm X 17 cm (including frame).
