A dramatic blue necklace with stones and materials we can't resist! Polished Pale Blue Lace Agate Nuggets with freeform shapes and beautiful natural patterns, each one unique and gorgeous, combined with deep Blue Lapis Lazuli 18K vermeil bezel set links, and luscious white pearls linked with gold. These beautiful dramatic stones make this necklace truly a One-of-a-Kind!

The necklace is approx. 16" long (40.6cm), with an 18k Gold vermeil clasp and a dangling vermeil charm. Longer lengths will be made with an extender, please ask!

WHY BLUE LACE AGATE ... WHY BLUE LAPIS LAZULI ... WHY PEARLS?
Blue Lace Agate is a variety of banded Chalcedony, of the Quartz family. These very special stones are pale blue with white bands and crystals, smooth, and elegant. Each stone has a rare beauty, hand-selected by us for its beautiful shape, color, and patterns.
Blue Lace Agate is a stone of communication, helping those who have difficulty being heard by others, assisting communication in situations were angry words must be avoided, and clear understanding is necessary. Agate also helps new mothers avoid the "baby blues" sometimes experienced after giving birth.

Deep Blue Lapis Luzuli has been loved throughout the millennia, in dramatic jewelry worn by the young King Tut, vivid aquamarine-color paint used by the finest artists of the High Renaissance, and intense deep blue eyeshadow for the infamous Cleopatra (cue Elizabeth Taylor glamour!). The most sought after stones are an intense blue with flecks of Pyrite that illuminate the stone with a golden appearance. The traditional source of the finest Lapis Lazuli remains the same today as it was thousands of years ago — high in the mountains of Afghanistan. Other major sources are Chile and Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia.

Pearls have been symbols of status and wealth for thousands of years. Pearl-adorned objects have been found at archaeological sites across the Roman Empire, from Syria to North Africa and northern France. During the Renaissance, the upper classes adorned themselves lavishly with pearls, a symbol of wealth, status and taste in an age of splendor. Rulers and the wealthy elite in India and the Middle East used large numbers of pearls to enhance costumes and furnishings. In Islamic thought, pearls represent perfection and completeness. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. Attention to beautiful design, materials, and long-lasting wear are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase carefully and notify us of any damage within 48 hours to discuss repair/replacement/exchange.

If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase, within 30 days, for a refund of the item's purchase price. We cannot accept returns on custom made or special orders, or jewelry on sale.

To return an item, please send us a note. Wrap your jewelry carefully, and send it, (insured, for your own protection) to: Elizabeth Lydon Studio, 6114 La Salle Ave. #749, Oakland, CA, 94611. Once the jewelry arrives here safely, we will submit your refund via the same method of your purchase, and send you a note to confirm.
