Description

**All new orders will start fab on Jan 2nd due to the holidays**

This is the Dart Shark - a magazine loader for Nerf brand magazines! The Dart Shark will clip on top of Nerf magazines and allow you to quickly & easily load darts. It almost literally eats darts and digests them into the magazine. Not only does it look awesome but it’s also fun and doesn’t requires very little concentration to use. Designing something like this has been a goal of mine for a long time so I’m very happy to finally have something to show off.

A short video of the Dart Shark in action can be found on my YouTube channel:

Although Drac didn't have the right batteries, check out the slow-mo Dart Shark review video on his channel:

The Dart Shark is printed out of PLA, contains many mechanical and electrical components, and is motorized. For operation, it just needs to be turned on and fed darts. Once a dart is fully inserted, the mouth will quickly open and close which will load the dart into the magazine.

The Dart Shark takes (3) 14500 lithium cells and runs between 9v and 12.6v. It *does not* take AA batteries. Rechargeable 14500 lithium cells (basically lithium batteries in an AA form factor – IMR cells, for example) can be bought through Amazon or other resellers for custom nerf gear. Due to it’s need for lithium batteries, standard practices and care should be observed while using batteries of this chemistry. Here are two links to batteries that can be used with the Dart Shark:

* Batteries & charger are NOT included with any purchase of the Dart Shark! Batteries and charger need to be purchased separately. *

I offer several versions of the Dart Shark for sale:

*Fully Assembled: Completely assembled & tested Dart Shark (batteries & charger not included). This takes a fair bit of work to put together so my preference is that you buy the kit if you’re capable of soldering and screwing parts together ;)

*Full Kit: All the parts & manual required to assemble the Dark Shark. Soldering is required for assembly.

*Hardware Kit: All the mechanical and electrical hardware for the Dart Shark. No printed parts are included. Only buy this if you plan to also buy the STLs and print the parts yourself.

*STL Files & BOM: All the STL files, Bill of Materials & purchase links, the print guide, and the assembly manual is provided for the ultimate DIY’er. You can print as many parts as you want, experiment with color schemes, modify the files, or make parts for friends. However, redistribution of the files or sale of the files or parts is not permitted.
