This listing is for (10) 100% RECYCLED CONTENT handmade paper, plantable gift tags/wedding or party favors.
Created from "junk" paper collected by myself and with contributions from and GP's STAR RECYCLERS (see profile for complete list).

Each tag is first made as a plantable sheet with a mould and deckle and then cut into a 2.5" X 3.5" rectangle with a paper cutter.
The tag is Safari-colored, front and back.
The eco:nomical tags have a semi-smooth surface making them an excellent choice for writing or stamping.
They have been pressed and air-dried indoors to preserve the color.
All the content is 100% recycled.
They hang with a 12" piece of brown variegated hemp twine through a punched hole.
They have been stamped on the backs with SOY INK.
Color may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the nature of recycled/upcycled content. Slight discoloration on the tags may occur over time due to the natural reaction of the seeds leaching their germination inhibitor coating into the surrounding paper fibers. My intentions are for the tags to be planted within 6 months of creation and the sooner the better for successful germination.
Also, I do not add any sizing or other archival ingredients to the paper itself so that the tag will biodegrade easily and the seeds can more easily germinate.
Remember, seeds are organic living things and are subject to natural laws of change. The seeds are viable for a year or more if they are stored in a dry, dark and cool location.
If you are ordering from outside the U.S., please check that customs will allow you to receive my seed products. For example, Australia does not allow importation of seeds and I will not ship tags there.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER (please read before ordering):
Green Post does not have any control over natural conditions and cannot accept responsibility for the performance of the seeds. Green Post is only responsible for delivering high-quality 100% RECYCLED paper products. I buy high-quality wildflower seeds and do my best to keep the seeds as dry as possible during my papermaking process. The most important aspect of plantable tags and papers is that they are 100% RECYCLED, BIODEGRADABLE, HANDMADE and are a KIND AND EARTH-FRIENDLY GESTURE. The idea IS the beautiful part. Plantable tags and papers do not make raising seeds simpler. But, I sincerely hope that you will enjoy these products and I want to wish you the best conditions for raising some beautiful flowers!
According to Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply,

"Growing Wildflowers:
Fall and spring are the best times to plant wildflowers. Wildflowers grow best on sites with full sun, low nitrogen, low fertility and with existing stands of shorter grasses for soil stabilization. Above all, they must be protected from heavy weed competition. To speed germination, put your seeds in the freezer for 1 or 2 days, then thaw for 1 day, repeating the process 3 to 4 times. Broadcast at 1/4 Lb per 1,000 sq ft, or 125 seeds per square foot, and plant to a depth of 1/8 to . Many wildflowers are drought-tolerant once established, but they must receive adequate water for their initial growth."

Wildflowers Planting & Growing Guide:
Regarding Writing On GP Plantable Tags:
GP Plantable Tags & Papers do not have sizing added to them (which normally prevents ink from bleeding) in order for the seeds to properly germinate. I suggest using artist grade, fine-tip ink pens that are permanent, archival and waterproof. I use Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens and Millennium for Drawing & Scrapbooking pens.
Thanks for supporting my efforts to recycle! Enjoy!
