This is a "beaded bacteria" patch. It's flat, and is covered with glass beads, both new and old. I chose a random bacteria theme, pulling the composition from years of looking at biology books for inspiration. A researcher I know said it looks like staph or strep, I can't remember which. It also looks like listeria.

The beads are all sewn on firmly, most with at least 2 pass-throughs, through thick interfacing. A beautiful piece of African cotton print is cemented to the back, securing all of the stitches. A picot stitch edges the piece to pull the edges of the backing fabric right up to the beads.

What you do with this odd fellow is up to you...I'm selling this as a patch, as it is.

Though there is no distinct length or width, you can fit it inside a 4.5" square.

Shipping is free in the US only, unless customer wants to expedite or add insurance. If you live outside the USA and would like to purchase this item, please send me a private message so I can calculate your postage. All sales are final. Please check out my policy page for more information.
