I don't see the color I like from the color swatches available for a specific item, can I still get it?

YES! Stroodies loves colors!! However, keeping so many color materials on hand sometimes means we just haven't made an item in a particular color before. We're always happy to do so as long as we have the material on hand though. You are always more than welcome to reach out via message to request we make or restock a color you're looking for! Or, you can always choose the "Surprise Me" option leave a message in the "Note to Seller" option if you would like a specific color. On the off chance you're looking for a color you don't see on the color swatches (last two photos of each listing) at all let me know! We are always happy to custom order material if we can find something that will match what you're looking for!

Custom and personalized orders

We are always excited to hear new product ideas that customers want to see. If you have an idea for an item you think we could make, let us know and we will work with you on seeing if we can make it become a reality! Prototype testers are eligible for discounts or sometimes even freebies on the items we work on with them. We also love for customers to try our newest items and provide feedback so we can continue to make improvements. You can find current prototypes in development in the "New Prototypes" section of the store. These items are available for a discount from their eventual expected list price!

Are Stroodies Products Safe for Use in an Aquarium?

Most, BUT NOT ALL, Stroodies products can be used in underwater environments like aquariums and paludariums. Items containing Stroodies standard magnets should not be submerged underwater. That means any magnetic items marketed as for reptiles (such as Magledges and Maglofts) should not be used underwater. Fortunately, we also offer aquarium safe magnets, usually labelled AQ-safe, AQ, or aquarium-safe in drop-down menus. These magnets have a special epoxy coating that allows them to be submerged underwater with no risk to your aquatic pets. Items listed in the "Aquarium" section of our store use these magnets by default or can be used in other items on request. Not sure if an item is safe for an aquariums? Just ask us and we can help!

When Will My Order Ship?

Most Stroodies orders process and ship within 3-5 business days. For bulk or custom orders we will provide an expected processing time when we send your listing. We work hard to stay on the shorter end of this time range, but occasionally larger orders, orders placed during busy seasons, and more complex orders things take a bit longer. If we ever expect your order to run past this processing time we will reach out! Please note processing times to not include actual transit time, which will vary by postal service available at checkout.

I make these beauties with my 3D printer out of PETG plastic and PLA plastic in Rochester, NY.
PETG is the same type of plastic used to make water bottles. PLA plastic is comprised of tough fibers from plants like sugar cane or corn. Both of these materials will hold up for years in a Gecko environment. Stroodies stands behind all of our products because we have our own geckos and we love them very much.
