Depicting a view from a slight rise, over snow covered huts, into wide dreamy wintry Ukrainian countryside landscape. Very impressive piece of Original Russian Art

Backside of the canvas is marked in Russian script, titled in Cyrillic, signed, stating the year of the artist birth and dated "The city of Donetsk, Sizov Vladimir Vladimirovich, Born 1946, oil on canvas, 60 x 68 cm, 1992 ".

FRAMED SIZE: 32 1/4" W × 29 3/8" H.

Newly framed in custom made natural wood frame. Its rustic appearance comes from the reclaimed barn wood and fence board. Handcrafted by USA Artisans, it's finished in driftwood gray and features a whitewashed raised inner edge. *Painting is ready to be hung on the wall.

CONDITION: Painting is in great vintage condition.

ARTIST INFO: Vladimir V. Sizov was born July, 1946, in ST. Petersburg. Is a Russian painter working in different genres of easel painting, portrait, landscape and still-life. He spent his early years in the town of Michurinsk of Tambov. Sizov studied in the Lugansk State Art School from 1961-1966, then in the Kiev State Institute of arts of faculty painting. Since 1972, he was the participant of many exhibitions, 2 in Donetsk: Kiev: Michurinsk: Hozhov: Krakow, Poland, Obdash, Austria: Tambov, and Moscow. His paintings are exhibited in the museums of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Singapore and in private collections of France, the USA, Israel, Austria, China, Germany, Poland. Vladimir V. Sizov has been a member of the Artist's Union since 1976. He and his wife and family live in Tambov, Russia.
