Materials: seed paper, planting instructions

Each one of these vibrant flowers resembles real flower blossoms, but they have a sweet surprise. Each one is made from paper so they will hold up and stay pretty for months, even years. What's more, the entire flower has seeds embedded right inside the paper. Plant them to grow actual flowers! Photos show some suggested uses.

Genius and gorgeous.

When it's time to plant, plant just each petal one by one and scatter or plant the entire flower in a pot. Water well and keep damp in full sunlight. Seeds take about 1-2 weeks to sprout. Planting and growing tips are provided.

The paper flowers contain a combination of seeds for planting in climate zones 3-10: Zinnia, marigolds, snapdragons, pink cosmos, cornflowers, black-eyed susans, red and pink poppies, white shasta daisies, calendula, godetia, dianthus/Sweet Williams, wallflowers, and columbine.

Our handmade paper is made to order to promote freshness and contains a special mix of 'premium' garden flower seeds: Zinnia, pink cosmos, snapdragons, red and pink poppies, white daisies, blue cornflowers and flax, yellow calendula, dianthus/Sweet Williams, marigolds, black-eyed susans, godetia, and other desirable garden flower seeds. Other seed paper often contains too many lower quality 'wildflower' type seeds, such as baby's breath/sweet alyssum, that are considered weeds. Our premium quality seed mix contains a pollinator-friendly mix of both annuals, for first year color, and also perennials for blooms in years to follow. Herb seed paper, veggie seed paper, and custom seed paper with specific seeds are also available at extra cost.

Planting is simple but not foolproof. Plant like you would other seeds - under a thin layer of damp soil in full sunlight. Seeds sprout best in warm, damp soil. Shoots grow strongest in sunlight. You can plant our seed paper inside in a small pot or outside in a pot or garden space. Most flowers can bloom entirely indoors in a small pot using a heat mat and grow lights.
