Rajasthani Indian Palace Textured Canvas Screenprint 9 x 13 Wall Hanging

This piece was silk screened by hand, using an original photo of HAWA MAHAL (wind palace), taken in Rajasthan, India on a recent trip. A textural background was created using dyes and nontoxic water-based inks, so no hazardous materials were used:)

The palace was built by Maharajah Sawai Pratap Singh and is a part of the city palace complex. The screens permitted ladies of the harem to view the buzzing old city below, while remaining hidden from the public.

Canvas print is stretched over wooden frame.

Finished size is 9" x 13"

Ready to hang.

For protection during shipping, bubble wrap is used.
