Message me BEFORE purchasing if you have any concerns. Please message me your dog breed/size for best match of sheepskin pieces. Your pet gets the satisfaction of 'natural' play with no squeakers or seams to tear out. You will receive TWO SHEEPSKIN sections of trimmed one-inch long wool-on-leather hide. One each in Black & Brown colors. Size varies as the sheep varied but you should get something at least 6 to 8 inches long x 3 to 5 inches wide. Some PIECES may be bigger! YOU CAN CUT THEM with scissors or a razor knife to make SMALLER SIZED PIECES.

If you have an aggressive chewing dog or puppy or cat - these sheepskin scraps can make a good alternative to having expensive sewn toys destroyed. Your pet will have hours of fun tossing, rolling, and tugging the wool as if they are playing with another real animal. However, while the sheepskin is non-toxic, it should NOT be ingested by people or pets.

THICKNESS AND SIZES WILL VARY so please let me know if you have a small dog, medium, or large breed. These are non-toxic and washable. Yes, they are dyed to this color. (All our Australian Merino sheepskin tanned hides get coloring to even out the shades of the sheep wool.) If you are concerned about dyes, message me about our lighter colors, which will have the least amount of dye.

Received 3 thick, good sized sheep skins. My new husky puppies will not attempt tug with hard ropes but love pulling and shredding things. The polyester toy stuffing sits in the yard forever. The older husky immediately started tug with the sheepskin and got a puppy to join. They pulled to a draw and we had to intervene when no one would give it up. Novelty wore off and they quit being as insistent about who gets to keep it at the end. The other puppy is just weird and decided he would not even go in the room with the sheepskins. Eventually he hauled one outside and spent the afternoon pulling some bits of wool off before deciding they are not some type of scary new live animal. Now he keeps stealing them whenever the others aren't looking. Then I have to go find where he stashes them so they can be played with again.
