I was in the marching band - were you?

This is a great vintage piece - a vintage Drum major's baton. A long chrome ribbed baton with white knob on the end. This is the first thing most people saw when the parade started - the Drum major led and directed the marching band.

About 32 inches long, fairly heavy (considering he/she had to carry this for the whole parade!), and this one is in very good condition. The rubber shows some aging. This looks like the 1950's to me.
