Bird Photography of Cardinal, Mockingbird, and Red Bellied Woodpecker by:
PaperSpongedotcom (here on Etsy),,

PaperSpongedotcom is a very valuable repeat customer of my bird suet. He can tell you first hand how much the birds LOVE IT. He even photographed it.

Even though I'm down south, we do get hit with very cold temperatures, snow, and freezing rain in the winter. And when the weather is nasty, the birds still have to eat. It's even more important for them to have energy.

I can't tell you how it warms my heart, as well as the little bird bellies, when birds FLOCK to the suet cakes to eat. It gives them lots of energy and they can dine without dealing with the snow and bad weather.

I make this bird suet year round for the birds. They LOVE it.
Let me say that again, THEY LOVE IT.

My friends all tell me that it smells so good that THEY want to eat it. But please don't do it. We certainly wouldn't digest it the same way the birds can digest it.

You can set TomCatt bird suet next to a cake of store-bought suet, stand back and watch the store bought suet get completely ignored.

I make the cakes large so you can fill that suet cage up from top to bottom. Store bought suet cakes don't even fill the cage. And two cakes of my suet will fit great in a large suet cage.
Suet cages are not included.
Also, no tray is included. The suet stays so well together that I didn't need to include the tray. That means less garbage for you to toss away.

Push down one of these large TomCatt suet cakes into the suet cage.
A little suet shaves off of each side, which is fine. Take any excess that doesn't fit and mash it right on top of the cage when you get it closed shut. They'll stand on the top and eat it, believe me. They love that. No waste!

I no sooner get a cage filled with suet and the birds are landing on it while I'm running it out on the elevated clothesline. They can't wait.

Each generous TomCatt suet cake measures about 5½ X 5½ X 1½.

In the pictures you see two cakes in this listing, a close up of our TomCatt label, and various pictures of some birds on our suet cages, just so you can 'see the love'.

I sure wish I could post a lot of pictures and show you the TWO kinds of Woodpeckers, Carolina Chick-a-Dees, Titmouse birds, Carolina Wrens, Cardinals, Gold Finches, House Finches, Grackles, Cat Birds, etc. ...all feasting on the suet.
I sit here at the computer and take pictures of the various birds that come and dine on delicious TomCatt Suet Cakes!!

I make HUGE batches of suet cakes. And I end setting up friends and family with the suet because they know it's the best. Then I have to make more in order to feed my OWN birds.
I have friends and family that ask when I'm making more. They see the results immediately because the birds gobble it right up.

Now I want to offer my TomCatt suet to you. People kept telling me that I should sell it, so here I am.

I keep it out for the birds year round, as I stated, because they need suet for energy and to get them through the winter months. This gives them 'something to stick to their little ribs', as the saying goes.

But boy, come springtime they REALLY enjoy it. I'm suspecting it's an aphrodisiac for birds in their mating season.
And nothing is cuter than when the mama birds bring their young to the suet cages. There are generations of suet-fed birds here. While sitting on eggs the father brings suet to the mother. Then they both bring it to their young. And when the babies fledge, they bring them right to the source.

The ingredients are on the label.
My suet can be frozen, refrigerated, and even stored in a cupboard...but be forewarned, even the mice love it. Trust me on that. I know from experience.

TomCatt and all the birds of the world hope to see you soon!
