Color Blind? Want to try something different? Looking to be the coolest kid on the block? Try this unique 50/50 blend of Black Nebula & Snow White carrots.

Black Nebula: One of the darkest carrots available. A delicious 8-10″ long carrot with a tapered shape and sweet taste. Not just the skin that is deeply colored, the midnight purple color goes all the way through to the core. Black Nebula is scrumptious raw or cooked and does not lose its color when cooked!

Makes a stunning dark purple drink when juiced; when a squeeze of lemon is added, it turns bright pink! The juice is also used as a natural coloring for easter eggs & fabric, just check out your tongue after you take a bite out of one! Black Nebula is more rustic, not as refined (the roots can look a bit "hairy" sometimes, but are easily peeled), as traditional orange or hybrid carrots, but well worth growing. Among all of the health benefits too long to list, this variety ranks highest in anthocyanins. If left in the garden, it makes exquisite white umbel flowers tinged with lavender. Pollinators love carrot flowers.

Snow White: Try this unique and attractive creamy-white carrot! Snow White has a delicious, mild-sweet taste and a good crisp crunch. Plant produces excellent quality white carrots. Perfect in salads and gourmet dishes. Lovely when mixed with darker colored carrots.

100+ Organic seeds.

~ planting ~

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before average last frost. Successive sowings every 3 weeks until 60 days before first fall frost. In climates with lows above 25° F, grow all winter. When to start inside: Not recommended.

~ harvesting ~

Do not allow carrots to get larger than normal size (6”-7”). Peak harvest period lasts for 3 weeks. Late summer planted carrots are very sweet if harvested after first couple of light fall frosts, but before heavy frost. In climates where temperatures don’t fall below 20° F, with protection, carrots can be left in ground for storage, and harvested as needed.
