Description

Not just ANY lion - he is Chris's lion and he has 3 legs. Chris was asked by his kindergarten teacher 40 years ago "why 3 legs" Chris didn't know. When the picture in orange crayon came home he was asked by his parents who were me and his father, "why 3 legs?" he thought a bit and told us he didn't remember any more legs. Many years later I made this screen print of his lion and he still gets a commission from each sale. His grandmother, who was an artist, did a wheelthrown sculpture of Chris's 3 legged lion as well. Famous at four!

This is a hand pulled screen print in oilbased inks on paper. It is matted to 16" x 22" with an image of 11" x 17". The color of the mat may vary. The title and signature are in pencil by me. Artist retains image copyright.
