"...When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dew drop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears an infinite storm of beauty..."

I love these lines from the book Travels in Alaska.
Painting on stones grants passage into this infinite storm of beauty John Muir speaks of. The entire process, from hunting stones besides rivers to adorning their surfaces with inspired patterns, each moment allows for an intimate study of the natural world and endlessly reminds me that everything is connected. It is my joy to create these palm sized original works on stones. Thank you for stopping by!
