Beautifully detailed and colored vintage lithograph of imoths.

The Adelidae or "fairy long horn moths" are a family of primitive monotrysian moths in the order Lepidoptera. Fairy moths have a wingspan of 4-28 millimeters and males often have especially long antennae 1-3 times as long as the forewing. They are widespread across the World and can be found over much of North America and Eurasia from April to June.

The size of the print: 10,6" x 7,5" (27 x 19 cm) including its border.
Printed in Germany, 1956 for "Mitteleuropaische Insekten" by Claus Caspari.

Concerning the age of the paper - cca. 60 years - some spots can be occured on the margin and the reverse side, but these do not effect the quality of the lithograph itself as it can be seen on the scan.

Please note, that by antique prints due to their age some imperfections are to be expected.
