Description

This sweet kokeshi doll bento box has two round compartments and a lid. The bottom box or bowl is the body, with kimono detail, the top bowl is the head/face, and the lid is her hair with top knot and tassel. All are made of hard plastic and have a painted finish. Colors include red, black, purple, green, orange, silver, and gold. Unmarked as to maker, but most likely made in Japan in the 1960s or 1970s.

Size: 5.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide.

Condition: Light wear with a few missing spots of paint – mainly on the bottom edge of the top box/bowl.

Items are carefully packaged and all shipments are insured. If an item is damaged or broken in transit, please contact me within 24 hours of receipt of the package. Please save both the item and all packaging materials as photographic evidence will be needed by the insurer. Also, some insurers require that broken or damaged items be surrendered to them. You may need to sign an affidavit, but we will file the insurance claim for you. Reimbursement will be made upon settlement of the claim, which is typically within 30 days of filing.
