The Ancient Norse ouroboros, Jörmungandr, was one of the children of Loki who grew so large that it could encircle the world and grasp its tail in its teeth. The cobra eating its tail ring is available in US sizes 5 to 20, in whole, half, an quarter sizes. Sizes 13 1/2 (13.5) and larger are an additional $15.00 in sterling silver, additional $45.00 in 14k gold. We can also make your ring in UK, French, German, Japanese, and Swiss sizes. The cobra ring measures approximately 14.2 mm (9/16") wide across the cobra's hood, 4.5 mm (3/16") wide at the back of the band, and the head rises approximately 9.5 mm (3/8") high off your finger. The ouroboros ring weighs approximately 7.7 grams, the weight will vary with size. The inside of the cobra's head has been partially carved out to reduce the weight and insure successful casting. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and sterling.
