PDF Sewing Pattern Victoria 1830s Romantic Era Dress Evening Gown for 16 inch dolls A Girl for All Time
Digital file type(s): 1 PDF
A gown for your Queen Victoria...
This pattern is for a Romantic Era (1830s) evening gown. It is quite a lacy confection! The bodice is constructed of six pieces for a very tailored fit. The sleeves are puffed and large like those from the period and covered with a lace overlay. At the neck and sleeves are lace ruffles, and the skirt is covered with lace as well. For an authentic period look, I recommend a silk for this dress if you plan to do the lace overlays. However, omitting the overlays and using a cotton or linen would look beautiful as well!
***The sleeve and bodice pieces of the "Victoria" pattern are interchangeable with the sleeves and bodice of my "Molly" pattern, available in my shop for 16 and 18 inch dolls! Available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/638843512/pdf-pattern-molly-1830s-romantic-era
