★ THIS IS GENUINE DETROIT FORDITE! Please do some research before buying a piece labeled "Fordite" as I see a lot of "faux fordite" and other stones like "rainbow cal silica" labeled as FORDITE. To clear up any confusion: Fordite is made specifically from AUTOMOTIVE ENAMEL through a manufacturing process that no longer exists. It is NOT just any old paint over spray. Feel free to convo me if you have any questions about pieces you may see & I will give you my best opinion as to whether its genuine.

★ Firebird

A spectacular chunk of Detroit Fordite! High polished with lots of metallic detail. This one is a real beauty with a sparkling mix of bright yellow, silver, orange and red! I love how the swirling pattern makes it almost seem fluid!!! Set with a gorgeous sterling silver bail and suspended from a delicate sterling silver cable chain, sterling rolo chain, black rubber cord or gray rubber cord. One of a Kind! Perfect for guys or gals!!

Measurements:
★ Fordite is approx. 15mm
★ Cord/Chain length is your choice (Shown: Delicate Cable)

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
What is Fordite, aka Motor Agate??

"Vintage Fordite is a multi-layered, automotive enamel with a very interesting history. The original leftover paint slag, or “rough”, was made incidentally, years ago, by the old fashioned industrial techniques used to spray-paint multiples of production cars in large auto factories. The hand spraying process which created this slag is long gone, making this beautiful art, VERY rare!"
