A matched pair of Austrian Tinies, produced between 1885 and 1914, these two part, metal buttons feature an intricate flower and trellis motif against a brown background with a white rim.

Measuring 1/2 inch diameter, the japanned, cupped backs have loop shanks and the metal trim from the obverse is folded over the edges and onto the reverse. The overall condition is very nice, with some minor tarnish and wear, but overall quite sturdy and intact… I should look so good at 100 years of age!

For your button collection, jewelry creations, assemblage or special sewing project, this is an exceptional pair of mighty mites.

I'll be adding additional sets and singles of vintage, antique and collectible buttons from a great estate find (an avid button collector!) so keep watching
