Let this Point Betsie Lighthouse Art Quilt allow you to bring summer vacation home! Confetti quilt.

Point Betsie Lighthouse is a local and state landmark on the shore of Lake Michigan in Benzie County. It's been photographed, painted, sketched and recreated in every medium imaginable...so why not a confetti quilt.

Beach walking is one of my favorite outside activities while confetti quilts are my favorite form of fiber art. Point Betsie location just a few miles up M22 made for a easy choice.

Thousands of pieces batik fabric are confetti cut then “painted” on quilt backing and batting. Fussy cut building, window and roof pieces are used as a base for added shading and texture. The black tulle, used to keep the confetti in place for quilting, doesn't dim the metallic blue and silver fabric that create the reflections in Lake Michigan. Machine quilting with invisible thread is completed then accented with additional machine quilting.

31" high x 22" wide (insert a dowel & hang with provided sleeve)
