As mentioned above and in my Shop Policies, customs charges and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. UK and Canadian Customs charge a duty on items valued over a certain amount entering their countries, which must be paid by the purchaser. This value threshold is quite low, so if you have any concerns, please investigate prior to purchase.

Metal in all jewellery will tarnish over time - it's a natural process of oxidisation, and Sterling Silver can be brightened by gently wiping with a silver cloth.
Do not use chemical cleaners, and do not wear your jewellery while showering, swimming or exercising. Never spray perfume directly on your jewellery, or put on your jewellery too soon after applying body creams/oils.
This not only applies to the metal but more importantly the stones as some are softer (need more care from knocks and scratches) and some are more porous (can soak up oils/fragrances and discolour).
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can cause some stones to fade.
No refund/exchange can be given on damage caused by not heeding the above

I proudly use Australian made 925 Sterling Silver in my designs, manufactured from recycled and ethically sourced material by a local company who have the most up-to-date and eco-friendly production methods available.

You may have noticed that I oxidise all of my Sterling Silver jewellery : I do this because I absolutely love the depth and character that it gives to my pieces, and also because I want my jewellery to stand the test of time. All Sterling Silver jewellery will tarnish, it’s a natural process, but I used to get so disappointed to see my shiny silver pieces turning dull grey. By adding patina, the eventual dulling on the polished high-points of each piece is less noticeable (and can be revived with a quick wipe of a jewellery cloth). And the more you wear your Karmic Star treasure, the more it will become part of you – it will get shinier where it touches your skin.

All my packaging is sustainable, biodegradable and/or recycled : all my pieces are presented in a Karmic Star gift box, made from recycled cardboard that is lovingly hand-stamped and folded by me, and wrapped with biodegradable jute ribbons. Even the fluff that keeps each treasure safe inside the box is made from eco-friendly non-GMO corn, and is biodegradable
