Fifth Eclectic Reader by WM. H. McGiffey, LL.D.
Van Antwerp, Bragg, & Co, Cincinnati, New York
This is the best of the three as far as condition goes. The cover is embossed, and also the spine. Writing on inside cover and some pages.

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson
George Munro's Sons, New York
circa 1890
There is no date on this book, but after doing some research found the date to be c.1890. There is also a signature on the inside cover dated 1898. Fragile book, first page is barely in there. The pages of this book are extremely thick, almost like card stock, brown pages. Missing some of the spine.

The third book is a German Reader by Ollendorff
D Appleton Co, New York
The front cover is literally hanging on by one string. The spine is worn off. Pages brown around the edges and some stained.

A trio of super shabby old books, great for a photographic backdrop (as shown in the last picture, this is just one example) or the perfect accent for that antique table!
