This dress is just amazing. The colors are so vibtant and striking, and the pattern is so unique. Bright red with asian patten and thick black trim, this one of a kind dress will surely stand out.
Vintage 1960's George Small New York size 16. I can not find a flaw in this dress. The only thing is some minor fraying of the fabric inside PAST the stitching, so its not going to cause a problem, and the tag is also a little worn. Overall this dress is in excellent vintage condition!
Unfortunately I dont have a manequin, and I didnt have a live model handy. So you will have to forgive my photos.
It is a size 16, but I took some measurements. I didnt have a tape- so I had to lay it flat and doubled the measurements. I know that is not the most accurate, but this style dress shouldnt be too tightlly fitting, so these measurements should work.
At the empire waist, directly below the bust- 32"
Across the center of the bust- 36"
Across the wider part of the waist- 42" (this area is not fitted)
Legnth from neckline to hem line: 52"

Zips up the back (about halfway), and the zipper seems to be in good working condition.

Please consider the measurements carefully. I do accept returns, but I deduct the shipping cost from the refund. The style of this dress is not form fitting. You'll want to give yourself a little room.
Sizing was different 40 years ago, and this would most likely not fit a size 16 by todays standards. This dress would best fit someone who is about a 12.
