Height: 17 Inches; Width: 11 Inches

The Raven is my largest screen print, reproduced from my long sold out xylographic print of the same name. Each Raven is hand printed by me using archival quality ink on wood veneer sustainably grown and made in the USA. The wood veneer I work on is two ply and has a similar thickness to heavy cardstock. It can be framed or mounted.

Wood size: 17 x 11 inches
Art size: approximately 13 x 3.75 inches
Open edition signed in ink and accompanied by a certificate

Please note, because wood is a natural material each piece exhibits variations in color and grain. Some pieces may not lie entirely flat unless mounted or pressed under glass. This is especially true if you keep it in areas where humidity varies. Generally speaking, maple & birdseye maple are more prone to waviness. Here are a few general characteristics of each wood type:

Aspen is the whitest wood and sometimes has some gaps in the grain.
Birch is generally bright and very consistent in color. The grain may be slightly wide and create a striping effect in the image.
Birdseye Maple is generally light to medium yellow/tan with a shine and a lively array of spots, please note, this wood is most prone to curling. I recommend framing or mounting to keep it flat.
Cherry is a darker red tan tone than cedar and may have elaborate patterning and mild color variations. Eyes are generally dark but small.
Maple is generally light to medium yellow/tan with some color variation following the grain.
Oak is a warm light brown with some patches of more open grain that may make the print appear somewhat uneven.
Western Cedar shows distinct stripes of warm light red tones.
