Height: 7 Inches; Width: 6.25 Inches; Depth: 6.25 Inches

Meditating resin skeleton with halo. Halo is adorned with glittering silver rings and diamond-like crystals. Figure sits atop a real wood base upon which sits a glass votive candle holder. Photos show figure with a real candle burning; however, for safety purposes, it is recommended that the votive holder be filled only with a battery-operated candle. (Votive holder is not attached to the wooden base and is included with the piece.)

This piece is unique and would make a perfect gift for those who love to meditate.

Halo crown is affixed to the head and is not removable.

This is a wonderful conversation piece and a lovely addition to any Memento Mori or Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) collection.

In the medieval tradition of Memento Mori, this unique item has been created to remind those who contemplate it of the reality of our mortality. Far from being grim or morbid, the focus of this piece is life. It serves as a tangible reminder that death ought not surprise any of us. Living our lives mindful of our mortality should inspire us to be our best selves and to live each day as if it were our last.

This piece is fashioned to remind us that, mindful of our own mortality, we should live our lives so that our legacy is one of beauty and kindness. Each of us should leave the world better for our having been here.

NOTE: A portion of all sales will be donated to Watsi, medical care for patients who are unable to cover their own expenses.
