Beautiful vase by Gotlind Weigel, with a thick brown glaze.

Gotlind Weigel - born April 23, 1932 in Georgenburgkehlen, Germany.
She has been a member of the Gruppe 83, along with Beate Kuhn and Karl Scheid, and has been working with her husband Gerald Weigel (1925) in their Gabsheim studio since 1973.

the vase shape is slightly oval, so therefor I added 2 diameter sizes for this vase.

13,5 cm / 5.3" in diameter
13 cm / 5.1" in diameter

There were a lot of hoops to jump through in order to get the piece Emiel sent all the way to the farthest shore of Canada ....I was delighted and impressed by his overall patience and kindness and not to mention his ever increasing knowledge of the deep world of the ceramicist arts. The piece he obtained was beyond the mediocre which stands true with his luck in being able to find rare and delightful works . He gets five stars from me and a pledge to be a repeat customer . Thanks Emiel !
