This brooch was made sometime around the Turn of the Century. Curling letters with milgrain edges are encased in a circle of finely crafted laurel branches. This piece is quite heavy for its size.

Marked: The back of the stem of the letter P is faintly stamped Sterling and more heavily a little further towards the top of the pin, DO. I am not familiar with this mark, nor is sterling silver my strong suit when it comes to vintage and antique jewelry. So here's your chance to take advantage a rare moment of ignorance.

-1.75" in diameter.
-1/8" thick.

Very Good condition rating an 8 out of 10. There is some tarnish/patina. There is a spot (pictured) on the tail of the letter G. Minor surface scratching throughout.
