Everything we sell is handmade by Erik and Amanda (The Hippies) in our Sandy, Oregon home using renewable energy. We use Procion Dyes for our tie dyes which means all Made By Hippies Tie Dyes are colorfast and can be washed with the regular laundry and stay bright and colorful for the entire life of the tie dye t-shirt.
You will receive the tie dye in the photo, the tie dye pattern and size is listed in the title above.

In April 2009 we were hired by American Apparel to teach them how to tie dye at their factory in L.A. It was a great time and they even made a video about our trip down there. To view it check out YouTube and search for "Made By Hippies In Downtown LA."

We do size exchanges on in stock items that we have in different sizes.
One of a Kind Tie Dyes may be exchanged for store credit towards another tie dye.
If there is a defect in the product then we will replace or refund the item.

We have free shipping for "Made By Hippies Tie Dyes" category of tie dyes, which is our in stock tie dyes.
On the one of a kind tie dyes we do charge a small shipping fee.
We usually ship USPS First Class or Priority Mail.
Orders usually ship out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We find it takes 2-3 days for west coast and up to a week for East coast orders to arrive. International orders can take anywhere from 10 days to 3-6 weeks to arrive depending on the country.
If we are out of stock of a specific item we will make some fresh tie dyes up and get your order out as soon as we can. Usually within 10 - 14 days, however it could take up to 30 days.
