This vintage pattern from Simplicity, circa 1963, features two no-nonsense, practical back wrap skirts - one straight, and one slightly flared. Both have patch pockets (they're shaped on the straight skirt, topstitched on the A-line skirt). When the skirts are cut in plaid, the pockets are cut on the bias for visual interest.

Waist 25"
Hip 34"

The pattern is complete. View 1, the straight skirt, has been carefully pinked (except, oddly, for the waistband, which is uncut); the pieces for View 2 are uncut.

The envelope is tatty, with several small holes down the left edge, and a large tear across the front.
