Highlights
Hoops are classic earrings, but it is the variations that will always catch your eye, as in these vintage sterling silver Newari hoops from Nepal. Notice the use of wrapped, pearled wire (buti) in the center of the hoop, ending in waterballs. The sides of the hoop are also decorated with waterballs to create that ‘spike’ look.
The earrings measure 1 ¼” with the wire and because the main body of the earring is hollow they are very light and comfortable. These are destined to become your favorite hoops, hands down!
