We hand forged 14 gauge copper to make these simple bold big swirling hoop earrings.
The ear wire is 20 gauge sterling silver. If you would prefer copper earwires for no extra cost just let us know.

The earrings measure about 2 - 2 1/4" (5- 5.9 cm) from the top loop to the bottom of the earring. The earwire adds an extra 1/2" (1.2 cm) to the length making it a total length of about 2 1/2 - 2 5/8"(6.3-6.8cm) from the very top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. The widest part across is about 1 1/2 - 1 7/8"(3.8- 4.8 cm).

All our jewelry comes wrapped in colorful tissue paper, in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.

The copper wire used in these earrings is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxides over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
Here are some suggestions for how to shine up your copper jewelry using common household supplies like lemon juice or ketchup:
