This beautiful upcycled cactus and succulent garden is made from a solid marble cracked birdbath basin and a round dark wooden stand. Within the landscape is a complete natural Trilobite fossil specimen in its natural matrix. It is an Elrathia Kingi, Alokistocaridea Family, and comes from Millard County, Utah, House Range, Drum Mountains in the Wheeler Shale Formation. They were living animals during the Cambrian Period ca. 505 million years ago.

The combination of the marble, wood, fossil, and cactus is beautiful.

We used a variety of locally grown cactus and succulents, trying to incorporate blooming and rare varieties. Most gardens have had a season to grow into there pots. Whenever possible a tag stating the genus and species is placed with each specimen. These are easily removed if desired.

Care sheets are included with each of our gardens. Gift cards can also be included upon request. All that is necessary is a medium light to high light window to supply your garden with the proper sunlight. In Minnesota, we place our gardens outside during the summer once any chance of freeze has passed. They thrive in filtered outdoor sun but it's not necessary. Our gardens can also be moved to a darker location (centerpiece, accent etc.) for a special event and then moved back to it's sunny location. If any succulent in the garden eventually fades out they are easily popped out and replace with a new species.

The gardens measure approx. 13" around (diameter) by 19" tall to the highest cactus, 17.5" to the top of the birdbath.

This would sell locally for around $135 but we are selling it for less on Etsy due to the shipping costs (offset). Because of the size, weight, and fragile nature of the gardens proper shipping is very important. Thanks!
