It’s hard to believe that this traditional block, Gretchen, can be sewn without a single template. Everything is cut from two sizes of squares. The magic is in the quick rotary cutting trick. A bright collection of florals and deep hued blenders was my selection for this quilt. The good contrast between the fabrics really shows off the lines of the block. Pattern for both the 25 block quilt and the 16 block Kaffe Fassett quilt are included in the 12 page, well illustrated (with many photos) pdf.
The fabric does all the work!
