This beautiful vintage ceramic planter or vase of a woman in a long dress pushing a flower cart was made by Weil Ware, a California pottery company that operated from the 1930s to mid-1950s. The planter is hand painted with brown hair and pink, blue, and green flowers. The cart is divided, so it would make a perfect little vase for a small bouquet. It is unsigned but has the number 4001 and the letter G inscribed on the bottom.

This planter is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is a fine crackle on the glaze overall, which I think adds to its vintage appeal. There is one little rough spot on her right arm, not really noticeable, and some yellowing (it appears) of the glaze.

Size: 8 1/2 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches deep x 4 1/4 inches wide (21.5 x 19 x 10.7 cm)
