Power Lines, Urban Art, Study in black and white, Urban decay Urban landscape

A mad tangle of Power Lines. Try looking through the viewfinder of your camera anywhere in small-town India, and you're sure to see dangling electric wires. Masses of them. Criss-crossing the sky. Everywhere you look. Sometimes it seems like they're what holds up all the crumbling, precariously balanced structures around them. I love drawing them- they're messy and graphic, all at the same time.
I sketched this piece in small town India where there are crazy tangles of powerlines everywhere you look.

This is a print of my original sketch in pen and ink and colored pencils. The print is designed to fit a standard frame. It is printed onFine Art Paper using archival inks. Each print is signed and carefully packed and shipped.

All my sketches are done on-site, from direct observation. The print you will receive is a high-resolution scan of the original and will show all it's natural imperfections (the blot of an inked-in line, a faintly drawn pencil sketch under the watercolor), all integral to the process.
