polymer clay, acrylic pigments, PYMII clear coat, 18 karat liquid gold leaf, real liquid silver leaf

Dimensions

Height: 1.50 Inches; Width: 1.0 Inches; Depth: 2.25 Inches

Hand sculpted and painted, this is my latest in my ongoing small primitive bird figurines. Featured here is a primitive common seagull with a little fish in his bill. This little guy I have free hand formed in artist grade polymer clay and expertly dry brushed him in artist grade polymer clay pigments. Finishing off his artisan look, I have accented his beak and eyes with real liquid gold leaf and his body is subtly accented with hints of real silver leaf. He is super cute, holding his silver accented minnow in his golden beak! Finally, for his long lasting protection, he is sealed in artist grade, non yellowing satin finish clear coat which is especially made for sealing polymers.
He may be small, but he's got about 4-5 hours work in total in him to get him to his lovely, artisan finished stage. This little seagull guy is one of a kind as well! If I make a new seagull, he or she will Never look the same, intentionally.

You receive the Exact little marine bird figurine pictured here. I only sculpt each bird I make by hand, then list that finished piece. I can make to order, but the next one will never be exactly the same.

Beach Glass not included, sorry.

SIZE: The bird is 1 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" from to tip of tail and 1" and a bit wide at his widest point, so is a small sculpture, and weighs ounces, so is not heavy at all. He fits real well right in the centre of the palm of an average adult woman's hand.

CARE: Please always open your clay piece package over a soft surface because accidental dropping on a hard surface, especially from a distance, could cause breakage. Always keep your clay piece out of a child's reach as these are not toys in any way. Always dust off your piece gently and do not soak or use cleaning solutions because eventually this could wear the finish, though the polymer clay itself is not harmed by water once cured. I tend to use the corner of a soft tea towel to gently wipe dust away, and not often.

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

I am able to accept personalized or custom orders, but am unable to offer refunds on either. Cancellations are accepted only if requested within a 12 hour period after ordering.
My sizes are described as accurate as possible. Questions are always welcome. Lengths of necklaces can be altered upon request, upon purchasing, in most cases.
Polymer clay is not harmed by water, but some of the finishes and clear coats, as well as the metal pieces, can be, over time. It is recommended that cleaning solutions are not used, clay pieces are not worn into hot tubs, pools, and not repeatedly in the shower.
I am happy to gift wrap, or add personal notes, if requested, within reason. Sorry, I will not send anything anonymously from a buyer to their recipient, upon receiving such requests, under any circumstances.
Wholesale is not really a possibility for my pieces, as most are one of a kind, and some of my supplies are antique, upcycled, and limited.
My jewellery and accessories are not recommended for young children.
I ship your purchase tracked and insured. I only charge what it costs me to ship from Canada to your location so that your package is shipped safely to you. It is $16.00+ Canadian minimum, to ship tracked small packages to US addresses. So, as you can work out yourself, my shipping is generally undercharged.
I do not charge extra for handling or packing materials, and I make no profit at all on the shipping I charge.
